Abdul has spent twenty years helping organisations navigate the gap between what they say they are and what they actually do, the space between organising logic and structural reality.
He is an independent consultant and the originator of the Viable Operating Model, a mediating methodology built on the shoulders of Beer, Ackoff, Rosen and Luhmann, and shaped by two decades of practice across strategy, transformation and organisational design.
He is currently at the threshold of doctoral research — developing the research questions that will ground what he has been doing in practice for twenty years into something more rigorous, more transferable and more honest.
He is also, slowly and honestly, working on the books.At CybCon he is not here to present a finished idea. He is here to think with others about something difficult and to leave with better questions than he arrived with.
